Tax Rates

Tax rates can be added by restaurant admins. To do this, click on 'Tax Rates' under the restaurant's menu.


Add Tax Rates

There are some pre-set category names available in the drop down menu, or you can enter your own custom tax rate name. Enter in the tax percentage rate and specify if you want the tax to only be included on purchases over a certain amount.



Edit Tax Rates

Restaurant admins can also update, disable, or remove tax rates that have been entered. Click the red x to remove a tax rate.



Associate Tax Rates to Table Types

Once tax rates have been entered, they can be applied to tables by associating the tax rate to a table type. To do this, click on 'Table Types & Rates' from the restaurant's menu. Next, select a type and click on the pencil to edit it.

Next, select a table type and click the pencil on the right to edit it.

On the edit table type page, select the Tax Rate drop-down menu in the 'Type & Rates' section. Select the desired tax rate and click Save. This tax rate will now be applied to purchases made with tables associated to this table type.
